WoW Forever tank tier list
Three real tank options exist in Forever. Early read from the Protection trees after launch: Warrior still leads total package, Paladin closes the gap hard, Druid holds packs fine.
S
Warrior
Shield Slam plus Bastion plus Vanguard: mitigation, snap threat and finally mobility in one tree.
A
Paladin
Shieldsworn and Iron Creed fix Classic's threat hole; Reckoning block-crit loop shreds packs.
B
Druid
Natural Reaction and armor stacking work, but no block and fewer cooldowns than the plate pair.
