How talent points work in WoW Forever
Every class picks from three trees and earns one point per level from 10 to 60, 51 points in total. Rows unlock at 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 points spent inside a single tree, and some talents require ranks in another talent first. You can respec at your class trainer for gold.
Launch-week tier lists
Early reads from the talent trees, updated as raid logs land.

Common questions
- Is the talent data on this site accurate?
- It mirrors the live Forever trees published by Wowhead and was last checked on 6 November 2026 against the launch build. Each patch triggers a re-check, and patch notes get their own post.
- How many talent points do I get in WoW Forever?
- Fifty-one. You earn one point per level from 10 to 60, the same budget Classic used, but the Forever trees add new talents to every class.
- What is the best class for leveling in Forever?
- Hunter, Mage and Warlock top the early leveling tier list for kill speed and downtime. The order moves as people hit 60, so check the tier list for the current read.
- Are Forever talent trees different from Classic?
- Yes. Every class keeps the three-tree shape but gains new talents, from Warrior's dismounting Spearing Strike to Paladin's reworked Protection capstones. Each class guide lists what is new.
